Community Meet - Botanical Art Society
Join us at the Botanical Art Society Singapore's Community Meet, where nature and creativity intersect. In this unique event, we'll delve into the vibrant world of botanical art using Schmincke's 140-color dot card for seamless color transitions. Participants can select up to 24 nature-inspired hues, fostering a shared palette for our artistic endeavors. The results of these selections will be available on our web store under Artist Selections - Botanical Art In Watercolor.
It is also our pleasure to welcome renowned botanical art artist Teo Nam Siang (@nam_siang) to the event, who will share his insights on selecting and creating these nature-inspired hues.
To enhance the atmosphere, Planthings will adorn the space with bespoke green plants in curated pots, available for purchase on-site. Immerse yourself in the beauty of fresh flowers provided by The Daily Blooms, conveniently located next door to Overjoyed. This community gathering promises an inspiring blend of art, nature, and the opportunity to bring a touch of both home with you.
NOTE:
1. This is not a workshop, but a community meet for color swatching, selection and discovery.
2. Participants are required to bring their own brushes. Watercolor paper and water will be provided.
3. Payment of plants and flowers must be made directly to Planthings and The Daily Blooms.
4. This event is only for members of the Botanical Art Society (Singapore). All members are required to sign up via this link.
