About the Approach
Flowers, in their fleeting beauty, offer more than form—they carry gesture, movement, and emotion. In this workshop, the focus is not on perfect replication, but on interpretation: learning to respond to what you see and feel. Through watercolor, a medium that resists control and rewards sensitivity, participants will discover how to embrace imperfection, allowing each brushstroke to remain alive, spontaneous, and quietly expressive.
About The Artist
Ong Jian Yang is a Malaysian watercolour artist known for his contemplative, lyrical style that invites viewers to slow down and appreciate life’s quieter, often overlooked moments.
