The session will focus on understanding shapes & structures of the subject matter, and how to apply the right colors according to the light source. Meanwhile, common watercolor techniques (eg. wet-on-wet, flat wash, layering) will also be explained to help students understand and apply the appropriate techniques to achieve the best results. Lenard Lai (aka Drawplet) is a “hungry artist” and a watercolor teacher who specializes in food illustration. He boasts a wide portfolio of realistic food paintings because he believes that food is a universal language across all communities.
