Taiyaki Ice-Cream In Watercolor With Lenard Lai
Join us to paint yummy Japanese desserts with food illustrator, Drawplet! This session will focus on painting a popular Japanese street food - taiyaki ice-cream! During the workshop, students will learn methods to tackle swirly-shaped subjects in an organized & structured manner. Meanwhile, common watercolor techniques (eg. wet-on-wet, flat wash, layering) will also be explained to help students understand and apply the appropriate techniques to achieve the best results. This workshop will use simple explaining methods and is suitable for beginners to intermediate. So don't be shy, join us and indulge in the joy of dessert-painting this weekend!
About The Artist
Lenard Lai (aka Drawplet) is a “hungry artist” and a watercolor teacher who specializes in food illustration. He boasts a wide portfolio of realistic food paintings because he believes that food is a universal language across all communities.
