"Tasty Toast" Sandwich In Watercolor By Lenard Lai
Learn to paint yummy sandwiches with food illustrator, Drawplet! The focus of this session will be on creating holey textures on bread, while also covering the concept of micro & macro shadows. As usual, fundamental watercolour techniques (e.g. wet-on-wet, flat wash, layering) will also be explained to help students understand and apply the right techniques for the best results. This workshop will use simple explanation methods and is suitable for beginners to intermediate. So why not join us and indulge in the joy of sandwich-painting!
P.S. Participants will only paint the first and second sandwiches due to time constraints. The rest can be done as homework.
About The Subject
The "Tasty Toast" sandwiches captures a delightful spread of friendship on a plate. Merry Berries, a perky strawberry sporting a blue beret, thrones atop creamy ricotta on her toast. Banaynay the banana, his peel beaming a smile, rests on warm peanut butter toast. Avo Bravo, a proud half-avocado in a chef's hat, presents his masterpiece - a whole-wheat creation adorned with sliced tomato and a balsamic glaze drizzle. Rainbow Radish, vibrantly sliced, leans against Avo Bravo's toast, his tiny easel and paints capturing the delicious scene. A playful polka-dotted backdrop completes the picture.
