DERIVAN Screen Block Out Liquid Stencil 250ml

The Derivan Screen Block Out Liquid Stencil is a complementary medium that protects and preserves hand-drawn stencil designs on silkscreens. Water-based and non-toxic, it ensures safe handling and makes screen printing accessible for all ages. After applying the Derivan Drawing Fluid and allowing it to dry, the Block Out is applied over the entire screen. This seals the screen, preventing ink from passing through areas outside your design and enabling multiple print runs with consistent results.

To use, spread a generous layer of the Block Out medium over the entire screen using a squeegee and allow it to dry naturally for 48 hours. Once dry, rinse the screen with cold water to remove any drawing fluid, leaving the design in negative. Allow the screen to dry completely before printing. After your print run, the Block Out can be removed by applying hot water and liquid soap, leaving the screen clean and ready for a new design. This medium enhances the durability of your stencil while remaining safe and non-toxic for repeated use.
