When a book is inserted from the front, the stopper automatically rises to hold it in place. The stoppers on both sides secure each book individually so that adjacent books remain standing when one is taken out. When a book is removed, only the stopper at that position lowers, making it easy to see where the book should be returned.
The base is fitted with rubber feet to prevent slipping on desks or shelves. Suitable for books around 103 × 182 mm or up to A5 hardcover size (148 × 210 mm). The minimum compatible height is 120 mm, as the stopper cannot function properly below this height. It may not stand upright if the book is thinner than the stopper thickness of 8.6mm.
