OVJ Printmaking Bamboo Baren 12cm

This smooth, light rubbing pad is used in traditional Japanese woodcut printing, or Ukiyo-e. Made of bamboo bark, it has a organic leaf flat surface which creates a subtle, distinct pressure on paper against an inked plate. It measures 120mm in diameter.
