Shapes:
- Round: modelling of shapes, details, reworking, finishing.
- Flat: solid colouring, backgrounds, lines, placement of material and masses.
- Tracer: fine details, precision work.
- Angular: solid colouring, lines, angles, small spaces.
- Fan: fades, gradients, blending.
- Filbert: rounded shapes, fades, glazing.
- Mop: very large water reserve.

Maintenance:
Carefully remove excess paint. For water-based paints: clean with soapy water. For solvent-based paints: clean with mineral essence, then soapy water. Tip: once clean, apply a little black soap to the top of the bristles. Nourished this way, the bristles will maintain their suppleness and shape.
