SCHMINCKE Transparent Gel 120ml

This solvent-free, jelly-like medium is designed to increase the transparency of oil colours while reducing their viscosity, making brushstrokes flow more smoothly across the canvas. Depending on the amount used, it can subtly to strongly enhance gloss and alter the binder content of the paint. The gel should be mixed directly with colour and may also be thinned using turpentine substitute if needed. It is not suitable for underpaintings. Always close the container tightly after use to preserve its quality.
