The SCHMINCKE 50303032 Liquid Frisket (also known as masking fluid or drawing gum) is an ammonia-free, 20ml bottle of colored masking liquid designed for artists using watercolors, gouache, or airbrushing techniques.

Specification
- Function: It is used to cover specific areas of watercolour paper, smooth drawing cardboard, or film that should remain white or unpainted during the application of washes.
- Color: The product is blue-tinted in its liquid form, which makes it easier to see where it has been applied to the paper. It dries to a "colourless" film (meaning transparent/neutral once dry).
- Formula: It is a synthetic resin dispersion that is odorless and ammonia-free, which prevents damage to the paper surface and avoids the pungent smell of traditional masking fluids.
- Application: It can be applied with a ruling pen, a cotton bud, a wooden stick, or an inexpensive brush (brushes must be cleaned immediately after use).
- Drying & Removal: The fluid dries quickly (a few minutes to an hour, depending on thickness) to a rubbery, water-insoluble film. Once the paint layer has dried, the frisket can be removed by gently rubbing it off with a clean, dry finger or an eraser.
