Since the lightfastness of the colors is not very high due to the fluorescent pigments (no stars) and the pigments are consumed over time, the following should be noted: While fluorescence can remain stable for several years indoors, it decreases significantly faster in direct sunlight.

Paintings with neon effects should therefore not be exposed to direct sunlight if possible.

Ideally, they should be framed under museum glass.
